Changing of the guard was the highlight for me
I'm that typical American girl who loves the British accent and all things about the Royal Family, so I booked this tour as soon as it popped up on my phone. I managed to get on the 10 a.m. tour, which included the Changing of the Guard. Those soldiers really look dashing in their uniforms. I took hundreds of photos and selfies all around the Westminster area. Once the tour was done, I spent the rest of the day exploring Kew Gardens. Oh my gosh, they are sooo stunningly beautiful! If you're ever in London, you have to see it!
Had such a peaceful time at the Kew Gardens
This was my second time visiting London, and I wanted to gain a deeper insight into British tradition and history, so I booked the Kew Gardens ticket and the Westminster Walking Tour. Our guide knew a lot and was eager to share his knowledge with our small group. We went all around the Westminster area and saw the iconic 10 Downing Street, Westminster Abbey, and Buckingham Palace. After the tour, I took the London Overground to reach Kew Gardens, which was my favorite part of the day. So many different kinds of trees and plants - so colorful, peaceful, and vast! I remain amazed by Kew Gardens, and I want to visit it again.

Respecting the Changing of the Guard Ceremony
Although the Changing of the Guard ceremony is one of the most popular things to see in London, there are some basic rules you should follow. You've probably seen YouTube videos where the guards yell at tourists who show no respect for this proud tradition. These videos can be outrageously funny, but we're sure you don’t want to end up in one of them, right?
Of course, you're allowed to film and take photos, and you should enjoy the privilege of observing this honorable tradition. However, please respect the guards by keeping your distance and staying quiet during the formal handover when the New Guard replaces the Old Guard.
One of the benefits of booking the Kew Gardens ticket and Westminster Walking Tour is that your small group will have a tour guide by your side. The guide will provide hints and tips on what to do and what not to do during the Changing of the Guard ceremony.
